It is one of France’s most prestigious regions. Champagne is believed to have been invented and not discovered haphazardly! And, during the “Belle-Epoque”, Champagne was limited only to the rich and famous. Fortunately, times have changed, and Champagne lovers around the world can enjoy this marvelous bubbly any time! And, what a better time to enjoy some bubbly than during the spring, the harvest and the holidays!
Indulge and Taste gourmet cuisine and famous Champagnes! During our four day Champagne Tour, pamper yourself, as we tour and taste at the top Champagne houses, the “creme de la creme” of champagne, in an unpretentious, small group environment. Our visits take us through historical underground galleries into prestigious chalk cellars where you’ll learn about every stage of production of these prestigious champagnes. At the conclusion of each visit we partake in a prestige tasting that includes tasting 2-3 “vintages” during each visit.
What MAKES OUR TOUR VISITS EXCLUSIVE?
All of our tastings include tasting “vintages”. A vintage is the producer’s top champagne, noted by the year of production, because the grapes used to produce the vintage all come from 1 single harvest year, and are 100 grand cru quality – A vintage is the #1 best quality champagne made by a Champagne producer.
To complement this unique experience, guests are invited to a private dinner at Pommery, a private lunch at Veuve-Clicquot, a gourmet lunch at Epernay’s best loved restaurant, and a farewell dinner prepared by a one-of-a-kind Michelin-star Chef! Plus participate in a pastry and chocolate making class with a celebrity Chef, and enjoy leisure time to explore cultural interests in both Reims and Epernay. This tour is truly a one of a kind experience for the Champagne and gourmet food lover!
