How to Book A Tour – Tour Deposit & Payments:

TOUR DEPOSIT AND BALANCE PAYMENTS:

• A US$1,000 per person non-refundable, 100% transferrable tour deposit secures space(s) on any tour.
• Balance payment is due no later than 60 days before tour departure.
• Once your tour is booked, the tour price is guaranteed for the year of tour participation.

CANCELLATION POLICY

We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel your tour, the following terms apply based on the number of days before departure:

61 or more days before departure
Your non-refundable US$1,000 per person tour deposit is held as a travel credit toward a future tour. Any payments made beyond the deposit are refunded. Travel using the deposit credit must be completed within two years of the cancellation date.

60–31 days before departure
You may choose either of the following options:

• Partial refund: Receive a refund of 50% of your total tour cost. The remaining 50% is retained as the cancellation fee.
• Future travel credit: Receive a credit for the full amount of your tour payments, less the US$1,000 per person non-refundable deposit. The deposit is forfeited and is not available as a separate travel credit. Travel using the credit must be completed within two years of the cancellation date.

30 or fewer days before departure, including departure-day cancellations and no-shows
A 100% cancellation fee applies. All tour payments are forfeited, and no refund or travel credit is issued.

TRAVEL CREDIT TERMS

• Travel credits are non-refundable and may be used only by the named traveler.
• Credits are issued as of the cancellation date. Travel must be completed within two years of that date.
• Once applied to a new tour reservation, the credit cannot be transferred to another tour.
• If you cancel a tour booked using a travel credit, or do not appear for departure, you forfeit the entire credit, regardless of how far in advance you cancel.

TRIP INSURANCE:

Trip cancellation/interruption insurance is recommended, but not required to participate in a Tour. No exceptions can be made to our Terms and Conditions/Cancellation policies. Trip cancellation/interruption insurance will protect you should you need to cancel for “any reason or fear of travel” or reasons such as illness, unemployment, death, and provides Guest refunds for air, train, hotel, and tour. Insurance for baggage, health/accident is also available through most major travel insurance providers. OFF THE BEATEN PATH, LLC is not responsible for additional expenses that may occur, as a result of any traveler not purchasing travel insurance.
