OTBP-Provence-tour-12Our Tour Guest responses …

Yes, I think most travelers would enjoy this tour. Our guides were very knowledgeable, kind and accommodating. We were very pleased with our tour and increased knowledge of the region. The walks and the experiences of hilltop villages were most enjoyable. The food was fantastic, as was the cooking class. The hotel and staff were fantastic. We had a great group of travelers and shared many stories and laughs.  Merci! we had a lovely time in Provence.” — Tom and Melinda Blum, Mystic, CT

Absolutely yes, We feel there is no better way to experience Provence than with local guides who will take the group off the beaten path. It was a fantastic trip. Loved our guides and learning about the region, and they had a great sense of humor. The guided walks were great. We also loved all of our meals, especially the first dinner. This trip would not be possible to do on your own. Thank you!” — Jane Berdichevskaya and her mom, Olga Vishnevskaya, Fort Lee, NJ — The ladies have already booked their 2nd tour to the Loire Valley for spring 2016 with us! Yeah! Looking forward to welcoming both ladies back for a totally unique and authentic Loire experience!

Yes we would! The small group of people makes the trip much more enjoyable. Each day was a delight. Personalised attention by knowledgeable guides added to the experience. The options were terrific and there was something for everyone with the pace just right. The only criticism is we personally ate and drank too much of the wonderful food and wine on offer.  Provence is lovely and everyone should see it! Thank you for everything, it was a lovely week!”  — Ray and Lyn Pearson, Brisbane, Australia

I would absolutely recommend this trip to anyone wanting a low key, pre-organized tour of Provence! Of course, I most loved the tour guides and I loved St. Remy de Provence. Staying here felt like the most authentic Provencal experience I could have hoped for. Roussillon and Cassis were both spectacular. The walks were a highlight for me. I loved the organized activities and I really enjoyed the art gallery opening with Philippe and Christy — what a treat. Overall this trip was 5-stars to me and I hope to do your other OTBP trips in France. Additional note from Katrina — What a treasure this week was! Thank you for providing such a wonderful experience. Your knowledge, personality and professionalism are such rare qualities and I truly hope to see you on another of your trips! Merci!”  — Katrina Shackelford, Chicago, IL

Yes, I would recommend this trip to anyone who loves good food and wine and walking. For me the best was the trip to Cassis and the cooking class. Thanks for great experiences all week long in Provence!” — Karin Wall, Toronto, Canada

OTBP-Provence-May-Tour-118Of course yes, Travel with small group is a great thing and we could make friends easily. One thing I really liked was “walking” every day and see the most beautiful views of Provence. In deciding this trip, first of all, I really worried that me and my mom are not native English speakers. However, all of group and tour guides were so nice to us and never let us get lost, they took good care of us. The tour was exactly what we wanted to do, walking with very special places to eat. This was a really good part of the trip. And the guides explain a lot about the history and culture of Provence. The last thing I really liked also was cooking class with Chef!! It was a wonderful experience for me and my mom. Thank you!!” — Yoony Park and her mother, Hyanghee Jeong, Seoul, South Korea

Yes, I would recommend to my friends and family, as it was a very relaxing vacation with an excellent line-up of restaurants and tasty food.  The people of Provence were wonderful, the weather was amazing, loved the local lifestyle and the hotel was a very peaceful place to stay. Thank you for everything!”  — Natalia Ivanova (Executive Chef from Donetsk, Ukraine) and Elena Popova (from Sochi, Russia) both now living in Hollywood, CA

Yes, yes, yes and I already have names. We’d recommend this trip because it is a fabulous regional experience into the true culture of France with a history lesson and cooking lesson added in. We really enjoyed and appreciated the personal attention, variety of events and local experiences. Not much that we didn’t like — Bill would have liked a day mid-tour to ourselves, and I would suggest travelers to come a day or two ahead of the tour to get over the jetlag. Thank you for a wonderful week and for the photo-op stops for the poppies and other cool sites also!!” — Bill Vogelson and Liz Paine, Alexandria, VA

Yes, this was a great tour. Thanks for helping us to enjoy it so much!” — Bob and Ginger Good, Saratoga, CA
