PROVENCE TOUR PRICE INCLUDES
--Full-time services of a professional Off the Beaten Path Historical Guide and Tour Leader, who serves as guests liaison during this fully escorted Provence tour program. Your guide(s) handles all of the details while you, our guest, enjoy the maximum the Provence has to offer during your tour. All of our guides are fully licensed American guides living in France and who speak fluent French.
--5 nights, Home Based Historical, Luxury Hotel (NO Hotel Hopping) in the historic center of St. Remy-de-Provence. L'Hotel des Ateliers de l'Image has recently been placed on Conde Nast Traveler's exclusive hot list.
--Guided visits of and all entry fees for all excursions detailed in the itinerary.
--Cultural and Historical Discovery, Guided Tours of Villages and Shopping at Provence Markets throughout the program, such as, Aix-en-Provence, Cassis, Hilltop villages of Gordes and Roussillon, St. Remy-de-Provence or Isle-sur-la-Sorgue
--1st Cooking Class: Morning, Hands-On Recreational Cooking Class with our private, renowned French Chef Marc at his Provencal bastide in the countryside of Aix-en-Provence
--2nd Cooking Class: Evening, Hands-On Recreational Cooking Class with our private, renowned French Chef at his country domaine (farmhouse) in St. Remy de Provence
--Camargue Cheese and Chateauneuf-du-Pape wine tasting evening.
--5 Buffet Breakfasts of freshly baked croissants, pain au chocolat and baguette, cereal, fruit, jams, yoghurts, fromage blanc (white creamy cheese similar to yoghurt), fruit compotes, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, fresh juices, meats and cheeses.
--3 Gourmet Dinners with wine (1/2 bottle per person per meal) and non-alcoholic beverages.
--1 Gourmet Lunch with wine (1/2 bottle per person per meal) and non-alcoholic beverages.
--All gratuities to service personnel and local taxes at hotel and restaurants.
--All ground transportation throughout the tour. Roundtrip transfers between Avignon TGV station and Hotel on tour start and conclusion day at designated transfer times. Limited to 8-12 guests per tour departure date
Please note: On the May, June and October Provence Tours, we visit the Isle-sur-la-Sorgue Market (takes place Sundays) instead of the Saint Remy Market (takes place Wednesdays).
--Tour excludes: roundtrip airfare to and from France, roundtrip train fare to and from Avignon TGV rail station, some meals as noted in the itinerary, personal expenses, extras at the hotel, wines and alcoholic beverages ordered beyond the provisions of the tour and anything not specified above, optional gratuity to tour guide(s)/leader.

TOUR BEGINS:
Group pick-up : Your guide meets you and the other Guests of the group on Tour start date at 2:30 PM at the Avignon TGV Rail Station in Avignon, France. To reach the meeting location for the Tour, travelers take the TGV (high speed train) either directly from the Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport to the Avignon TGV Rail Station or from the Gare de Lyon in downtown Paris to the Avignon TGV Rail Station in Avignon. TGV Travel time is approximately 2 hours/40 minutes from downtown Paris and 3 hours from the CDG airport.
TOUR ENDS:
Group drop-off on Tour end date at 10 AM at Avignon TGV train Station. Earlier drop-offs at Avignon TGV station can be arranged for guests returning directly to Charles de Gaulle airport.
